A topic no one can understand unless you suffer from it. Hate how people make simple assumptions, thinking it’s someone ‘over-reacting’ or being a ‘drama-queen’.
It controls your body, it controls your mind. It’s not something you can just ‘snap out of’ like day dreams. It takes time.
For my anxiety to calm down I have to mentally place myself somewhere in the mind where I know I can’t be disturbed. Its as if I have to shut down and reboot again. Weird huh? Data overload! Haha.
But in all seriousness, people should try and understand what anxiety does to someone. It’s not pleasant.
